During my teens I experimented with a handful of free website-hosts, such as using AngelFire, Geocities and AOL homes. I enjoyed learning how to code the basic structure that compromised those early websites. They were full of my artwork and biographies for my characters, lists of things I like and didn't like, funny links to websites I would visit and long pages of tests that I had taken on the internet and my results.
Like my peers I created a MySpace and Facebook account, however I did not enjoy the format of those sites and it alienated me from the other users as frequent interactions with friends was not something I was very good at, So my time using those platforms was short-lived. I kept a Livejournal documenting my reviews, ideas and journey via life. I made my last LiveJournal entry in 2009 as I had recently joined Twitter in 2008, however my time on that site was also short-lived as I was unable to fit into the format of making short-form text posts and soon left that platform also.
One of my longest running accounts was my deviantART account that I started in 2004. I posted artwork and experimental photos as I was discovering my personal art-style. In 2012 I purged my DeviantART account and started with a blank-slate. I have kept my artwork uploaded on the account but I only make a couple posts a year nowadays.
